Literally could not have said that better myself, having been made (happily) redundant this year from a tech company that is trying to do the AI revolution having sacked all their experienced, qualified, passionate middle managment and replaced them with vibe management. AInproven not to work in our company, though we didntrybhard, but inexorably the 5% of hallucinations cost way more to fix than the savings of the 95% of accurate tasks. And, since they've now sacked all the people who could spot the idiot mistakes, they now can't even tell if the model is working or not. Who'se going to tell them, the customers, or more likely their solicitors. Complete shit show, and these are the early days as you point out.
